Abstract:
Hyperthermia technology is gradually becoming one of the means of treating tumors after surgery, intervention, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and biologic therapy. Combined with local or systemic treatment, hyperthermia can achieve desirable therapeutic effects in the treatment of advanced liver cancer. However, the distribution of medical conditions varies across different regions in China, which affects the level of understanding and recognition of hyperthermia technology and its effects among medical institutions. Therefore, the application of hyperthermia in clinical treatment of liver cancer remains quite limited. This study provided an overview of the principles and current application status of hyperthermia in liver cancer.
