Abstract:
Objective To observe the clinical effect of retroauricular injection of dexamethasone combined with intravenous drip of ginkgo biloba extract injection in treatment of patients with sudden deafness.
Methods The clinical materials of 108 patients with sudden deafness in our hospital from January 2019 to December 2021 were retrospectively analyzed, and 54 cases treated with retroauricular injection of dexamethasone were enrolled in control group, while 54 cases treated with additional intravenous drip of ginkgo biloba extract injection on the basis of the control group were enrolled in observation group. After 2 weeks of treatment, the clinical efficacy, hearing recovery, hemodynamic indicators, coagulation function indicators and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.
Results Before treatment, the hearing levels of patients in the observation group and the control group were (43.88±9.36) and (42.14±8.34) dB respectively, and there was no significant difference between two groups (P > 0.05); after treatment, the hearing level of patients in the observation group was (13.41±2.29) dB, and was (18.17±2.34) dB in the control group; after treatment, the hearing levels in both groups were significantly better those than before treatment, and the hearing level in the observation group was significantly better than that in the control group (P < 0.05). After treatment, the total effective rate of the observation group was 90.74%, which was significantly higher than 74.07% of the control group (P < 0.05). After treatment, the whole blood viscosity, plasma viscosity and hematocrit in both groups decreased significantly, and all the indicators in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P < 0.05). After treatment, the thrombin time, prothrombin time and activated partial thromboplastin time in both groups increased significantly, the level of platelet factor decreased significantly, and the improvement degrees of the above indicators in the observation group were significantly better than those in the control group (P < 0.05). Patients in both groups had no adverse reactions during treatment.
Conclusion For patients with sudden deafness, retroauricular injection of dexamethasone combined with intravenous drip of ginkgo biloba extract injection can improve the hemodynamic indicators and coagulation function, effectively alleviate the microcirculatory disorders in the inner ear, and promote the recovery of hearing.
