    Abstract:
Objective  To evaluate and integrate the best evidence of asthma evaluation and intervention of perioperative patients.
Methods  Relevant websites and databases including BMJ, Up To Date, American Guide Network (NGC), National Institute for Clinical Medicine Guidelines (NICE), Canadian Medical Association Clinical Practice Guidelines (CMA), Canadian Association of Registered Nurses of Ontario (RNAO), Scottish Inter-College Guidelines Network (SIGN), New Zealand Guidelines Collaboration Group (NZGG), Medlive, JBI, Cochrane Library, PubMed, WOS, Wanfang, CNKI, VIP, China Biomedical Literature Service System (SinoMed), American Thoracic Society (ATS), European Respiratory Society (ERS) were searched. Guidelines, clinical decisions, recommended practice, evidence summaries, systematic reviews, expert consensus on asthma evaluation and intervention of perioperative patients were extracted. The retrieval time was from the establishment of the database to August 2022.
Results  A total of 13 articles were included: 5 guidelines, 4 expert consensus, 1 systematic review and 3 expert consensus. The best evidence included 27 pieces of evidence from 7 aspects: general principles, preemptive factors and risk factors, assessment, intervention measures, health education, effect evaluation and economic benefits of asthma management of perioperative patients.
Conclusion  This study summarizes the best evidence of asthma evaluation and intervention in perioperative patients. The research method is scientific and the content is comprehensive, which can provide evidence-based basis for the prevention and management of asthma in perioperative patients.
