Abstract:
Human acellular amniotic membrane (HAAM) is a natural scaffold material obtained after the acellular treatment of fresh human amniotic membrane with physical, chemical or biological enzymes, which is featured as good biocompatibility, low immunogenicity, three-dimensional solid space structure and convenient material extraction, and has broad application prospects in soft tissue repair, trachea and urethra reconstruction, skin wound healing, bone defect repair and adhesion prevention. This study aimed to review the application of HAAM stent in biomedical field.
