Abstract:
Objective To study the effects of IKAP health management model on self-health management level, pathological morphology and clinical course of patients with mild dysplasia of gastric mucosa (MDGM).
Methods A total of 100 patients diagnosed with MDGM were randomly divided into intervention group and control group, with 50 cases in each group. The control group received routine medical management and Helicobacter pylori (Hp) treatment, while the intervention group also received IKAP health management, conventional medical management drugs and Hp treatment. The results of gastroscopic pathological examination, anti-HP treatment effect and self-health management level of MDGM patients before and after intervention were analyzed.
Results After intervention, physical examination belief, physical examination behavior, MDGM health knowledge, MDGM health behavior, MDGM health belief score and total score in the intervention group were significantly higher than those before intervention and control group (P < 0.05). After IKAP intervention, the gastric mucosa cells and glands of MDGM patients were not damaged, no atypia was observed, and very few inflammatory cells were infiltrated. The reversal proportion of MDGM patients in the intervention group was 80.0%(40/50), which was significantly higher than 14.0%(7/50) in the control group (χ2=43.717, P < 0.001). After intervention, the number of Hp positive cases in the intervention group was significantly less than that in the control group (χ2=8.038, P=0.004).
Conclusion IKAP health management model can effectively improve the self-health management level and Hp infection cure rate of MDGM patients, and promote their recovery.
