Abstract:
Objective To observe effect of photodynamic therapy (PDT) in treatment of low-grade cervical squamous intraepithelial lesion (LSIL) and its influences on expressions of serum low-density lipoprotein receptor associated protein-6 (LRP-6) and hyaluronic acid (HA).
Methods A total of 90 patients with LSIL were prospectively included, and were divided into two groups according to random number table method, with 45 cases in each group. The control group was treated with CO2laser,and the observation group was treated with PDT,the patients were treated once a month and observed for 6 months after 3 times of treatment. The treatment effect, levels of serum LRP-6 and HA,adverse reactions and recurrence of the two groups were compared.
Results The overall treatment effect of the observation group at 3 months of treatment was better than that of the control group, and the total effective rate was higher than that of the control group (P < 0.05); at the end of treatment, the levels of serum LRP-6 and HA in both groups were decreased than those before treatment, and were lower in the observation group than those in the control group (P < 0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between two groups during treatment (P>0.05).The recurrence rate of the observation group after 6 months of follow-up was lower than that of the control group(P>0.05).
Conclusion PDT has good clinical effect in the treatment of patients with LSIL,can regulate the levels of serum LRP and HA.
