Abstract:
The primary clinical manifestation of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is pulmonary symptoms, but clinical studies show that patients with COVID-19 can also show a series of cardiovascular symptoms such as myocardial injury, arrhythmia, cardiac arrest and heart failure, among which myocardial injury with elevated serum troponin is the most common. At the same time, cardiovascular complications have a significant impact on the prognosis of COVID-19 patients. In this review, we provided an overview of the mechanism and manifestations of cardiovascular injury caused by COVID-19 based on recent research advances, and provided suggestions for the treatment of patients with cardiovascular complications.
