Abstract:
Objective To observe the therapeutic effect of modified Sugiura procedure in cirrhosis patients complicated with portal hypertension.
Methods A total of 70 cirrhosis patients complicated with portal hypertension were selected as study subjects, and were divided into control group and observation group according to the order of diagnosis and treatment. The control group received Sugiura procedure in a conventional manner, and the observation group received modified Sugiura surgery. Surgical conditions, hemodynamic indicators, liver function and incidence of complications of two groups were compared.
Results The duration of operation and hospitalization time in the observation group were significantly shorter than that in the control group, and the intraoperative blood loss was significantly less than that in the control group(
P<0.05). There were statistical differences between the control group and the observation group in hemodynamic indicators and incidence of complications(
P<0.05). The postoperative liver function score of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group(
P<0.05).
Conclusion Modified Sugiura procedure for patients with cirrhosis complicated with portal hypertension has good effect and higher safety.
