Abstract:
Objective To investigate the effects of Shexiang Baoxin Pill combined with atenolol on myocardial enzyme and oxidative stress indicators in patients with acute myocardial infarction.
Methods A total of 83 patients with acute myocardial infarction were divided into observation group(
n=43)and control group(
n=40)according to random number table method. The control group was treated with atenolol, and the observation group was given Shexiang Baoxin Pill based on the control group. The changes of myocardial enzyme and oxidative stress indexes before and after treatment were compared between two groups.
Results After treatment, the levels of cardiac troponin I(cTnI)and creatine kinase-MB(CK-MB)in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group(
P<0.05); after treatment, the superoxide dismutases(SOD)and glutathione(GSH)in the observation group were significantly higher than those in control group, and malondialdehyde(MDA)was significantly lower than that in control group(
P<0.05).
Conclusion Shexiang Baoxin Pill combined with atenolol in treatment of patients with acute myocardial infarction is effective, and it can improve heart function, reduce peroxidation damage, and have higher safety.
