Abstract:
Objective To collect the medical records of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) related to eaglewood, construct the database of TCM medical records of eaglewood by structured collection and classified indexing, so as to sort out the clinical experience of the use of eaglewood.
Methods The frequency analysis mining method based on optimized data was used to deconstruct the medical cases.
Results A total of 154 visits that met the criteria were included in this study. After frequency analysis and processing, 20 types of TCM and 20 types of western medicine diagnoses, 20 types of clinical symptoms, 36 types of tongue signs, 17 types of pulse signs, and 12 types of pathogenesis were involved.
Conclusion Generally speaking, the indications for clinical use of eaglewood are obstruction of qi activity and dysfunction of viscera, among which the pulmonary diseases caused by the inversion of lung qi are able to be cured in principle of smoothing qi and stopping asthma by eaglewood, the pain such as dysmenorrhea caused by block of qi activity is able to be cured in principle of promoting qi activity to stop pain by eaglewood, and abdominal pain and vomiting caused by deficiency and cold of spleen and stomach is able to be cured in principle of warming spleen and stomach to stop vomiting.
