Abstract:
Premature rupture of membranes(PROM)is a common complication in obstetrics department. At present, the commonly used clinical diagnosis methods such as vaginal pH value and vaginal secretion smear are more sensitive in the typical symptoms of PROM, but the false-positive rate of diagnosis for the atypical symptoms of PROM(occult PROM)is higher, thus delaying treatment, and leading to poor maternal and infant outcomes. Human chorionic gonadotropin β subunit(β-HCG), prolactin, insulin-like growth factor binding protein-1(IGFBP-1)and alpha fetoprotein(AFP)and other factors in the diagnosis of occult PROM are gradually concerned by researchers. At present, these studies are still in the basic experimental stage. In this paper, the diagnostic value of these factors for occult PROM is summarized, which provides a reference for the timely and effective diagnosis of PROM in clinic.
