Abstract:
Objective To establish and use the standard procedure of breast massage for postpartum physiological breast distention.
Methods A total of 100 puerperas with physiological breast distention after natural childbirth from January to December 2017 were selected as control group, and 100 puerperas with physiological breast distention after natural childbirth from January to December 2018 were selected as experimental group. In the control group, the patients were treated with nursing based on clinical breast massagists' own habitual manipulations and treatment plans. The experimental group was treated with standard massage procedures. The relative indexes were compared between the two groups.
Results After treatment, the evaluation of breast pain score in the experimental group was significantly better than that in the control group(
P<0.05). The proportion of patients with short duration of pain in experimental group was significantly higher than that in control group(
P<0.05). The total effective rate of the experimental group was 63.0%, which was significantly higher than 41.0% of the control group(
P<0.05). There was no significant difference in breast-feeding rate between the two groups after one week of treatment(
P>0.05). The total satisfaction degree of the experimental group was significantly higher than that of the control group(
P<0.05), and there was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse events between the two groups(
P>0.05).
Conclusion The standard procedures of breast massage for postpartum physiological breast distention can effectively regulate the operation process of clinical breast massage, improve the curative effect and ensure the quality of massage and nursing.
