Abstract:
Objective To study the clinical effect of Yangxin Tongmai Recipe combined with aspirin enteric-coated tablets in the treatment of patients with coronary heart disease differentiated as type of Qi deficiency and blood stasis and its influence on gut flora.
Methods A total of 80 coronary heart disease patients were divided into control group(n=40) and observation group(n=40) according to the different treatments. Control group used aspirin enteric-coated tablets, while the observation group was given Yangxin Tongmai Recipe based on the control group. Clinical curative efficacy, TCM syndrome scores, quantity of pathogenic gut flora and the intestinal probiotics of two groups were observed.
Results Observation group had higher total effective rate than the control group (P < 0.05). Observation group had lower scores of primary symptoms and secondary syndromes than the control group (P < 0.05). The observation group had more number of intestinal probiotics such as Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium than the control group (P < 0.05), and less amount of Escherichia coli and fungi than the control group (P < 0.05).
Conclusion Yangxin Tongmai Recipe combined with aspirin enteric-coated tablets in the treatment of patients with coronary heart disease differentiated as type of Qi deficiency and blood stasis can significantly improve the clinical efficacy, reduce the TCM syndrome scores, and increase the intestinal probiotics, reduce pathogenic bacteria.
