Abstract:
Objective To investigate the effects of electronic moxibustion in different temperatures on opioid-related constipation(OIC).
Methods Eighty-six malignant tumors patients with OIC were randomly divided into control group (n=28), experimental group Ⅰ(n=29), and experimental group Ⅱ(n=29). The patients in three groups were treated with conventional treatment and nursing. The experimental groups Ⅰand Ⅱ were additionally treated with electronic moxibustion at 45 ℃, 50 ℃, respectively, on the basis of the control group. The patient′s constipation severity and treatment effect were compared.
Results There were significant differences in the severity of constipation in three groups(P < 0.05). The treatment efficiency of the experimental group Ⅱwas 86.21%, and 82.76% in the experimental group Ⅰ, which wereboth higher than that of the control group(P < 0.05).
Conclusion The use of electronic moxibustion at 50 ℃ is more effective in treating OIC.
