Objective  To explore the effect and value of postoperative comprehensive nursing intervention for patients with brain tumors.

  Methods   A total of 76 patients with brain tumors treated in our hospital were randomly divided into control group(n=38) and observation group(n=38) according to the random number table method. Patients in the control group were given routine nursing intervention, while those in the observation group were given comprehensive nursing measures. After one month of nursing, the quality of life score and the incidence of complications were compared and analyzed between the two groups.

  Results   After nursing, the scores of mental health, language ability, limb function, self-care and social function in the observation group were significantly higher than that in the control group (P < 0.05), and the incidence of complications in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group (7.89% vs. 28.95%, P < 0.05).

  Conclusion   Comprehensive nursing intervention can effectively improve the quality of life and reduce the incidence of complications in patients with brain tumors after operation.
