Abstract:
Objective To investigate the effect of laparoscopic ovarian cystectomy on postoperative ovarian function of patients.
Methods Totally 80 patients with ovarian cysts were randomly divided into two groups. Patients in the open surgery group were treated with open ovarian cystectomy, while patients in the laparoscope group were treated with laparoscopic ovarian cystectomy. The follicle stimulating hormone (FSH), luteinizing hormone (LH), estradiol (E2), anti-Mullerian hormone (AMH), inhibin B (IHHB), sinus follicle count (AFC), vascular pulsation index (PI), vascular resistance index (RI), peak systolic flow velocity (PSV), CD3+, CD4+ and CD8+ were compared between the two groups.
Results The levels of FSH and LH in laparoscope group were significantly lower than those in open surgery group at 1, 6 and 12 months after operation, and the levels of E2, AMH and IHHB were significantly higher than those in open surgery group (P < 0.05). There was no significant difference in AFC level between the two groups before and after treatment (P>0.05). The PI and RI values in laparoscope group were significantly lower than those in open surgery group at 1, 6 and 12 months after operation, and the PSV value was significantly higher than that in open surgery group (P < 0.05). There was no significant difference in CD3+, CD4+, CD8+ levels between the two groups before and after treatment (P>0.05).
Conclusion Compared with open surgery, laparoscopic ovarian cystectomy has better recovery effect on postoperative ovarian function.
