Abstract:
Objective To explore the effect of high quality nursing intervention on quality of life and complications in chronic renal failure patients with peritoneal dialysis. Methods A total of 100 patients with peritoneal dialysis were randomly divided into two groups,50 cases in each group.Patients in the control group were given conventional nursing, while patients in observation group were treated with high quality nursing intervention.According to the MIS scores and SF-36 health survey, the MIS score, the biochemical indexes, health condition, complications, treatment, and other indicators were compared between two groups. Results After treatment,in the observation group, the MIS score,BMI,and serum albumin and hemoglobin were significantly higher than those in the control group (P < 0.05).The quality of life of the patients in the observation group was significantly better than that in the control group (P < 0.05).In the observation group, the incidence rate of complications such as peritonitis, outlet infection, poor drainage, and the imbalance of water electrolysis were significantly lower than those in the control group (P < 0.05).Conclusion High quality nursing can not only improve renal dysfunction in patients with renal failure, improve the nutritional status and quality of life, but also can promote the patient's physical and mental health, and reduce the incidence rate of complications.
