Abstract:
Objective To explore the influence of non-invasive ventilation combined with moxifloxacin on the prognosis of patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and respiratory failure. Methods A total of 72 patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and respiratory failure were randomly divided into observation group (non-invasive ventilation plus conventional therapy plus moxifloxacin) and control group (conventional treatment plus non-invasive ventilation).Indexes of prognosis were compared. Results After treatment, the total effective rate, bacteria clear rate,pH,p(CO2),p(O2),FEV1,APACHE Ⅱ and quality of life in the observation group were significantly better than those in the control group (P < 0.05).Conclusion Non-invasive ventilation combined with moxifloxacin is effective in treatment of patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and respiratory failure.
